VetConnect & PetConnect are mobile applications owned and maintained by Aptsource Software Pvt.Ltd.. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application.

When you use our app, we may collect the following types of information:

a. Google Account Information

● Name and email address from Google Sign-In.

b. Calendar Data

● Events you create, modify, or delete through the Google Calendar API.

● Associated Google Meet links generated for calendar events. These links are included in events to enable video calling functionality for scheduled meetings

c. Device Identifiers

● Android ID (on Android devices)

● Unique Device ID (on iOS devices)

These identifiers are used solely to associate your device with its Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token for sending push notifications

d. File and Media Content

● Files you upload, download, or stream within the app (e.g., videos, documents, images).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to provide the following services:

● Enable calendar functionality such as event creation, editing, or deletion.

● Generate and include Google Meet links in scheduled meetings.

● Send push notifications through Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).

● Allow file sharing between users, including uploads and downloads.

● Enable video streaming of shared media files.

We do not use your personal data for advertising or profiling purposes.

3. File Uploads, Downloads, and Streaming

Our app supports uploading, downloading, and streaming shared files (such as video or documents). These files are stored securely and are only accessible to:

● You (the uploader)

● Other users you explicitly share the file with

We do not view or analyze your uploaded content, except as necessary to enable functionality such as playback or download.

4. Push Notifications

We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications. To enable this, we associate your device's unique ID with its FCM token. Notifications are used for app-related updates and reminders.

You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

5. Data Storage and Security

● Calendar data and device identifiers are not stored permanently on our servers.

● Uploaded files may be stored securely for access and streaming purposes.

● We implement industry-standard encryption and access control measures to protect your data.

● Access to your personal data is restricted to authorized systems and personnel only.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Your information and files are accessible to other users only when you explicitly choose to share them.

7. User Controls and Your Rights

You have full control over your data in the app. You may:

● Revoke Google account access at any time via Google Account Permissions.

● Delete files you’ve uploaded.

● Request the deletion of your account or associated data by contacting us.

● Opt out of receiving notifications by adjusting your device settings.

8. Use of Google APIs

Our app uses Google APIs to access Google Account and Calendar information. Your use of our app is also governed by Google’s privacy policies:

9. PetConnect Chatbot Usage

We provide a WhatsApp chatbot that allows users to request appointments and share pet-related documents with doctors.

10. Data Collected via PetConnect Chatbot

Messages you send to our chatbot (including text, attachments, or pet medical records) are processed and stored securely in our backend system, just like data collected from our mobile app.

11. Purpose of Data Use in PetConnect

Data shared through the chatbot is used only for:
● Scheduling appointments with doctors.
● Delivering pet-related information to the assigned doctor.
● Providing reminders and support messages.

12. Data Sharing via PetConnect

● Information shared through the chatbot is accessible only to authorized doctors/clinics for the purpose of providing veterinary services.
● We do not share chatbot data with third parties.

13. Consistency with App Data

Since chatbot users are already app users, the chatbot is simply another channel for interacting with your existing account and does not require additional personal data collection.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or via email.
